I disse kulde og influenza tider er det jo altid godt med suppe. Jeg laver ikke tomat suppe så tit, men da jeg fik lyst til en hurtig suppe der lindrede halsen, tænkte at tomat suppe måtte være den nemmeste at lave, og med økologisk hakkede flåede tomat dåse endnu nemmere. Foruden at lave suppen spicy med blandt andet gurkemeje og frisk chili, tilsatte jeg både ingefær puré og frisk revet ingefær for at give suppen en ekstra boost.

In this cold weather and influenza days, there is always need for soups. I dont make tomato soup often, but when yesterday I had the craving for a quick soothing soup, I thought of tomato soup made with canned and organic skinned tomatoes. Beside making the soup spicy with turmeric and fresh chili,  I added both ginger puree amd fresh grated ginger for the extra boost. 

Tomat suppe for 2 personer ( små portioner ) / Tomato soup for 2 persons ( small portions )

1 dåse hakkede flåede tomater, ca 400 gr med saft / 1 can chopped and skinned tomato pulp ( 400 grams with juice)
1 spsk oliven eller raps olie /  1 tbs  olive  or rapeseed oil
1 stærk frisk grøn chili, hakket /  1 hot fresh green chili, chopped
½ tsk hvidløgs puré / ½ tsp garlic puree
½ tsk ingefær puré / ½ tsp ginger puree
½ tsk gurkemeje pulver / ½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsk salt / 1 tsp salt
1 tsk rød chili pulver (se tip) / 1 tsp red chili powder (see tip)
½ tsk koriander frø pulver/ ½ tsp coriander seed powder
1  stor tsk frisk revet ingefær / 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
600 ml vand (se tip) / 600 ml water (see tip)

lidt frisk persille / fresh parsley

tip: - man kan erstatte chili pulver med sort peber, hvis man har lyst tim mindre stærk tomat suppe. Man kan også helt undlade chili.
- I stedet for vand kunne tomat suppen også laves med kylling fond, men jeg synes den er også lækker kogt på vand.


- I en gryde steg den hakkede chili, ingefær puré og hvidløg puré i olien 2 minutter, tilsæt alle krydderierne undtagen den friske ingefær og persille, steg igen 2 minutter og tilsæt tomaterne. Steg tomaterne på høj varme ca 5 minutter under omrøring. 

- Tilsæt vand og bring det hele i kog ca 5 minutter, herefter skrue varmen på komfuret på det laveste og tilsæt frisk revet ingefær,  lad tomat suppen simrer ca 15 minutter eller indtil det får den ønskede konsistente.

- Afkøl suppen let og blend den i en mini blender eller med stav blender. Kom den tilbage i gryden og varm den op igen. Servers med lidt frisk persille og brød.

tip: - you can use black pepper instead of chili powder, if you want a less hot soup or you can just leave the chili out.
- You could also make this soup with chicken fond or broth, but  I think it is deliciuos cooked on water.

- In a pot fry the fresh chili with ginger puree and garlic puree for 1 minut, add all the spices except the fresh ginger and parsley, fry for 2 minuts more and the add the tomatoes.  Cook the tomatoes on high heat for 5 minuts while stirring.

- Add water and bring the whole thing to boil. Boil for 5 minuts and the decrease the heat to lowest point , add the fresh ginger and let soup simmer for  15 minuts or until it get the thickness you want. 

- Cool the tomato soup just a bit and blend it in a blender until smooth. Pour into the pot and heat again. Served the tomato soup garnished with parsley and with bread.

Guld Bryllup Kage / Golden Wedding anniversary Cake

Det er længe siden jeg ar vist jer en kage, der går lang tid imellem at jeg får lavet kage.  Jeg er mere en cupcake  kvinde. Men jeg synses at mine forældres guldbryllup krævede en kage. Scroll ned ad for at se flere kage,  bord, mad billeder.

It as been a while since I showed you a cake, it is not so often I make cakes. I am more a cupcake women. But ofcourse for my parents golden wedding anniversary I wanted to make a cake.  Scroll down for see more cake, food, table setting pictures.

Kagen var et team work, jeg fik hjælp både af min datter og søster, da tiden var knap og klokken sent. Kagen har nogle småfejl, men min familie var imponeret og min forældre overrasket og glad for kagen. 

The cake was a result of team work, I had help from my daughter and sister as the hour was late. The cake has some flawes but my family was impressed and my parents were suprized and they loved the cake.

De spiselige guld pallietter og blonder havde jeg heldigvis lavet weekenden før. 

The golden coloured edible sequins and lace I had made ahead the weekend before.

De spiseligt guld blonder var ikke helt så nemme at få sat på, men øvelse gør mester og masser af tålmodighed.

It was not so easy to attach the edible golden lace, but trial and error AND patience.

Kagen var en citron kage bund med lemon curd creme som fyld.  

The cake was a lemon sponge cake with a lemon curd creme.

På dessert bordet var også zarda,  en pakistansk ris dessert lavet af min mor selv, mashallah.

For dessert there was also zarda a pakistani rice dessert made by mother her self, mashallah.

Bordet og pynte arrange mentet stod min datter for. Der vr vord kort med min forældres billeder og der var enda guld blomster. 

Table was set and decorated by my daughter, there were beautiful tbale card with pictures of parents and there were even golden flowers.

Sammen med masser af lækker hjemmelavet mad  var der også ostebord. Alt maden var også familie team work. Alhamdolillah

Among scrumptious homemade food there wer also a cheese tower. Al food was also a family team work, Alhamdolilla.
